Perdana, Carpets Swapped!

NEVER ever I knew that swapping out the carpets would make so much of a difference in presenting your car in terms of cleanliness and tidiness.

It was an impulse purchase. Last Monday I was down at the Proton Parts Shoppe aka Parts Centre in Glenmarie to pick up an engine block. I was looking around their mini showroom and came across brand new carpets for a Perdana V6.

My carpets were 17 years old and looked like crap. The new carpets were from the last model of the V6 variant and I liked the color. Ever since I got my license, I was too stingy to buy myself carpets for both my cars. Even the coil mats from the Charade were FOC from the halfcut shop(they were using it to "lapik" their used windscreens).

The color matches the interior. The current leather seats are also form the latest V6. On these mats getting dirty; that's another story.

Summary :

If you guys want that refreshed feel of your old car, get yourself new carpets or coil mats. Money well spent. I'm okay with coil mats, but these brown mats simply matches the interior and gave it a fresh new look! The bottom of the new mats are also spiked so it hold in place, especially for the driver side where the old one always gets out of place. Spend that little extra money you have, regain that confidence and represent your car in a much cleaner state :).
